twenty years of franchise marketing. Two top ten UK franchise brands. One clear conviction.
I've spent my career at the sharp end of franchise growth — not advising from the outside, but leading the strategy, building the teams, and doing the work.
I came into franchising through marketing and quickly discovered that the two disciplines are inseparable at the highest level. Growing a franchise network isn't just a numbers exercise. It's about understanding what motivates people, what makes them trust a brand enough to invest in it, and what keeps them proud to be part of it for years afterwards.
I've had the privilege of proving that twice over. At Fantastic Services, I helped take a domestic services business and build it into one of the UK's top ten franchises — ranked seventh nationally, operating across more than 100 service categories and beating household names to get there. Since joining The Travel Franchise and Not Just Travel in 2022, I've led the marketing strategy behind its transformation into the most recognised and awarded travel franchise in the UK, with more than 50 industry accolades and a network that has grown dramatically year on year.
None of that happens through campaigns alone. It happens through a clear proposition, the right message reaching the right people, a recruitment engine that converts belief into commitment, and marketing that never loses sight of the human being on the other side of it.
I'm a Chartered Marketer with a Master’s degree in Corporate Marketing and a contributor to the UK franchise trade press. I write and speak about franchise recruitment, brand growth, and the barriers that stop people from backing themselves as business owners — particularly women and career-changers, who remain underrepresented in entrepreneurship despite being among the most capable franchise partners I've ever worked with.
If you're a franchisor thinking about growth — whether that means rebuilding your recruitment strategy, sharpening your brand, or scaling a network that's ready for its next chapter — I'd love to talk.
